CENTRAL FLORIDA CRITTER OF THE DAY: Florida Bee Killer Robberfly (Mallophora bomboides)

Robber flies are in the Asilidae family and are predators. Many have preference for their prey and this one gets it’s common name for it’s preference for bees.
