CENTRAL FLORIDA CRITTER OF THE DAY: Tachinid fly (Archytas sp.)

Beneficial: Parasitic Fly. control of pest caterpillar (think armyworm!) which they use as food for their developing larva.

Performs some pollination as adults take nectar.
