CENTRAL FLORIDA CRITTER OF THE DAY: Stink Bug (Thyanta sp.) nymph

Thyanta is one of the minor pest species of stink bugs. They use their piercing and sucking mouthparts to feed on plant juices. There are some beneficial stink bug species which are predaceous on other insects and there are other species that a major pests of crops.
