CENTRAL FLORIDA CRITTER OF THE DAY: Case-bearing Leaf Beetle (Bassareus lituratus)

New to my buggy life list. Said to feed on desmodium spp. as well as other members of pea family. Here it is eating milkpea.

CENTRAL FLORIDA CRITTER OF THE DAY: Great Southern White Butterfly (Ascia monuste)

Note blue antenna clubs which is a characteristic of this species. This one is male.
